Ninja Speedi Hot Smoked Salmon Orzo

Bottom of the Pot

  1. Place the orzo and frozen broad beans/pea mix in the main pot.
  2. Cover with stock made from 500ml boiling water and stir well.

  3. Steam for 12 minutes.

  4. Remove the pot and drain the orzo and vegetables, but keep a mug of stock to loosen the sauce.
  5. Return the orzo to the pan and switch to the sear/sauté function on level 5.

Sear/Sauté

  1. Add the soft cheese, lemon juice and rind, freshly chopped herbs, red chilli, and black pepper.
  2. Stir well, then add some of the reserved stock to loosen the sauce.
  3. Mix in the grated grana padano until you achieve your desired consistency.
  4. Gently fold in the hot smoked salmon, turn off the Ninja Speedi, close the lid, and let it sit for a couple of minutes to heat the salmon.
  5. Serve garnished with more grated cheese and a handful of rocket for added freshness. Enjoy your meal!
