Bottom of the Pot
- Add 3-4 cups of water to the main pot.
Boil an egg for 8 minutes, then plunge into cold water. Leave to cool and peel.
Crisping Tray
- Marinade chicken breasts in soy sauce and Chinese 5 spice or Thai 7 spice for a few hours.
- Cook the chicken on the crisping tray with the water in the main pot, using Steam/AC at 180°C for 14 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Remove the tray and cover with foil.
Bottom of the Pot
- Empty the main pot and switch to Sear/Saute mode.
- Add garlic and ginger paste to the pot and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add chicken stock, fish sauce, and soy sauce to the pot. Bring to a simmer.
- Add assorted vegetables to the pot and cook until they are nearly done.
- Add straight to wok noodles to the pot and simmer for 2 minutes.
Assembly
- Slice the cooked chicken breasts.
- Assemble the ramen bowls by placing sliced chicken, 1/2 egg, and vegetables in each bowl.
- Garnish with chopped coriander, sliced fresh chilli (if using), and a drizzle of soy sauce (if desired).
