Ninja Speedi Italian Pasta Bake Delight

Instructions

Bottom of Pot

  1. Add 185g of spiral pasta to the bottom of the pot.
  2. Pour in the jar of sundried tomatoes and roasted garlic sauce, making sure to cover the pasta.
  3. Add a handful of cherry or sundried tomatoes and a sprinkle of Mediterranean dried herbs.
  4. Give the mixture a good stir to ensure the pasta is well coated.

Crisping Tray

  1. Add chopped vegetables of your choice to the crisping tray or a separate dish.
  2. Add plant-based chicken (or alternative protein) and mix well.
  3. Sprinkle with Mediterranean herbs and drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Mix everything together and set aside.

Cooking

  1. Close the lid and set the Ninja Speedi to 180°C for 12-15 minutes.
  2. Stir the vegetables halfway through the cooking time and once the preheat has finished.
  3. When the vegetables are nicely charred and the pasta is cooked, tip the vegetable contents into the pasta and stir to combine.

Grilling

  1. Add a couple of large spoons of lemon and basil pesto over the top of the pasta mixture.
  2. Cover with grated cheese (e.g. cheddar).
  3. Close the lid and grill at 220°C for 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  4. Dish up and garnish with fresh basil (if desired). Serve hot and enjoy!
