  • 300 g Basmati Rice (rinsed and drained)

  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 2 tsp Garam Masala

  • 2 Garlic Cloves (minced)
  • 1 tbsp Ginger (grated)
  • 400 ml Chicken Stock
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
  1. In the bottom pot of the Ninja Speedi, select SEAR/SAUTÉ and set to HI. Add oil and heat for 1 minute.
  2. Add sliced onions and sauté for 5 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add chicken pieces and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add garam masala, turmeric, cumin, and coriander. Stir to coat the chicken evenly.
  6. Add rinsed rice, chicken broth, bay leaves, and salt. Stir to combine.
  7. Close the lid and select STEAM & CRISP at 350°F (175°C) for 15 minutes.
  8. Once cooking is complete, let it rest for 5 minutes before opening the lid.
  9. Fluff the rice with a fork and garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
