Ingredients
  • 2 Chicken Breast (or thigh)
  • 2 Ready Wok Udon Noodles (approx. 300g)
  • 250 g Mixed Stir fry Vegetables
  • 2 Garlic Cloves (Chopped)
  • 1 Chili (Chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
  • 3 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • For the Sauce
  • 15 ml Oyster Sauce
  • 15 ml Light Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Dark Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Mirin (or dry white wine)
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • For the Marinade
  • 1 tbsp Light Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Mirin (or dry white wine)
Instructions
    Bottom of the Pot
  1. Cut the chicken into strips and coat it in the marinade made from 1 tablespoon of Japanese or light soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of Mirin (or dry white wine).
  2. Select high sauté (5) on the Ninja Speedi and add 30-45ml (2-3 tablespoons) of sesame oil to the pot.
  3. Sauté the marinated chicken strips until cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add your choice of mixed stir fry vegetables (250g) to the pot and stir-fry until they reach your desired level of crispness.
  5. Add the chopped garlic and chopped chili, and stir-fry for an additional minute.
  6. Add the udon noodles to the pot, then pour in the sauce mixture (oyster sauce, Japanese soy sauce, dark soy sauce, Mirin, and sugar). Stir until the sauce is absorbed and the noodles are heated through.
  7. Crisping Tray
  8. (Optional) If you prefer a bit of extra crispiness, you can transfer the cooked mixture to the crisping tray and crisp for 2-3 minutes.
  9. Finish by sprinkling chopped spring onion and sesame seeds over the top, then toss everything together.
  10. Serve immediately in warm bowls and enjoy your delicious Easy Chicken Yaki Udon!
